About Us
At Windwalker Ridge we do 
gaited Horses, endurance riding, camping, lessons, training, trail rides, and act as a buying/selling agent. Our emphasis is on safety, keeping the horses calm, and thinking through tough situations. 
We will cover saddle fit, conditioning and getting the smoothest gait out of your horse. We teach and practice negotiating tough, technical trails, emergency first aid and packing the saddle bags. We also teach loading/hauling preparations to go horse camping and mentoring through endurance rides. Give me a call, we'll talk about your needs.
We have a large outdoor field, and access to trails. We also put horses in the trailer and haul to local parks. I would be happy to meet you at McIver, Hardy Creek or Willamette Mission. For those that have their own horses, I can help you prepare for summer trail riding, help "babysit" your greenie, or show you the ropes of endurance competition.
Driving
Openings for a mini or Shetland for driving training--it's even more fun than it looks, and a great way for adults to enjoy the little ones, keeping them fit, well trained, entertained (ponies are SMART and love to trot down the road seeing new places) and a great way to have friends, visitors, grandchildren and the elderly get involved.
My equipment will fit a mini 36" to shetland 44" or so, would be happy to work with larger sizes, but you would need to provide cart and harness. Emphasis on RELAXED pleasure and road driving, natural headset, no action devices, staying calm with busy children, dogs, getting used to traffic, and traveling at marching walk, jog trot and faster road trot, learning whoa and standing patiently. Training/Board starts at $400 and goes up for larger sizes, or those with emotional/training issues.
