About Us
Dogs love coming here to visit! Here's Why:

- country farm on 11 acres
- 4 fenced grass dog yards so we can separate into compatible play groups if needed
- daily walks into the back fields
- hunting field mice
- playing in the creek
- and running/playing tag until they're tuckered out!
We have a separate building with indoor dog runs, well trained house dogs are welcome in our home (must be potty trained and cat friendly) furniture is all pet friendly, and we have no small children. I am a lifelong dog owner/lover, worked at vet clinics, competed in obedience competitions and AKC conformation with Boxers and Jack Russells. All sizes, breeds and ages welcome, from lap dogs to Newfoundlands, young puppies to geriatrics.

How much notice do you need to make reservations?
For major holidays, 3 day weekends and spring break, 2 weeks notice would be the smart plan, every year I get frantic phone calls on Christmas Eve asking if I can take their dog--I've been booked solid for weeks and of course feel terrible turning them away. Generally, I can take emergency drop-ins with very short notice and we try to be very flexible.
Pick Up and Drop off times
We have a morning window of 7:30-9am and evening of 6:30-8pm for comings and goings of the dogs (and owners!). This is in an often vain attempt to give some structure to our days--mealtimes, quiet times, group outings into the far back fields far from the phone or shouting distance of the gate, and I sure feel bad when I make a quick grocery shopping trip and come back to someone sitting in my driveway waiting. WE ARE FLEXIBLE, we just want to know WHEN to expect you if you're coming outside of the normal pickup/delivery times.
Do you do Daycare?
Yes we do, and it's a great way to introduce dogs to our routine, making it less stressful when you do need to board them--and you never know when situations/emergencies come up, sometimes you need to act fast, and it's so much easier for the dog if they're comfortable and familiar with a boarding environment. Daycare is also great for busy professionals who can work some crazy long hours--or of course for the goofy young dogs who you don't trust at home alone all day. Dogs play HARD here, and go home tired and happy, ready for snuggling and not driving you crazy. :)
Do you REALLY take all breeds?
Yes we do, we evaluate dogs as individuals, and have built several play yards so we can separate sizes, grumpy old dogs, dogs recovering from surgery, etc. We do separate all dogs for mealtimes, so food aggression is not a problem.
How secure is your fencing?
THIS IS A FARM. This is NOT a doggy version of Alcatraz. Fencing is 4' mesh, not 8' chain link with concertine wire on top. If your dog has EVER run away from you or from home, or habitually scales 6' board fences, please find a different boarding facility. We have had only two escapes in many years of boarding, and they both had a history of being "runners". There is no motivation to leave, fun groups of happy dogs, supervised by toy throwing humans with treats in pockets, plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and lots of hands on affection and snuggling. We get plenty of fearful dogs that need extra coaxing, and plenty of dogs that do best on a flexi-lead which we are happy to do.
What do I bring?
Bring your dogs regular food--please do not bring canned food as a treat if they're not used to it, it gives them diarrhea and makes them miserable. Some dogs have a special blanket or toy, I can't guarantee toy's intact return, but will do my best. If your dog sleeps in a crate, you can bring the crate, although I have plenty. Treats are fine. It's best to give your dog a fresh flea treatment before coming here--again, this is a FARM and there's no way I can de-bug 11 acres. First time visitors need to bring shot records, or if you give shots yourself, note that on your dogs paperwork. Click on the link above to download our info sheet, fill that out and bring with you on first visit--we will save it, so no need to fill out a new one each time.
Prices?
Nearly all dogs are $20/night, regardless of size. If you have a severely geriatric dog that's incontinent and needs medications three times a day, please expect to pay a little extra. Ditto for the 3 month old puppy that's working on crate training and potty habits. Females in heat are accepted, although that will also be extra due to the need to take her out separately.
Do you offer training?
Yes, basic obedience and leash work are available for $10 per session.
